Opening Notice had a premises licence for Shah’s in Reading, dated 12 August 2026.

On 21 August 2026 the Reading Chronicle announced the opening, and the operator’s own site announced it too.

That is nine days between the licence date and the announcement. We record the pair because it is a clean illustration: the application is visible before the story.
